Downtown also offers some of the finest dining and shopping in Tri-Valley. Pleasanton offers a variety of performing, visual, and literary arts through its Civic Arts program. These include a series of professional entertainment programs, the annual free Shakespeare in the Park, public art pieces around town, the popular poetry reading series, and art events for youth. Pleasanton is also home to the Alameda County Fairgrounds, which hosts statewide and regional events, as well as the annual award-winning Alameda County Fair. The City of Livermore encompasses twenty-two square miles, and has a population of 80,723. Coastal range protection provides the Livermore Valley with a mild climate that enhances the pursuit of a more relaxed, less congested lifestyle.

As home to renowned science and technology center, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Livermore is a technological hub and an academically engaged community successfully competing in the global market.

Livermore’s arts, culture, western heritage and vibrant wine industry provide a unique blend to this diverse community. Historic Downtown Livermore is enjoying a renaissance, reestablishing the downtown as the city’s premier shopping, dining, entertainment and cultural district. The festivals, farmer's markets, and parades bring visitors and residents alike to the center of town to celebrate the bounties of its agricultural heritage and spirit of community. www.ci.livermore.ca.us

San Ramon
The City of San Ramon is comprised of 11 square miles and is located in the heart of the San Ramon Valley. The region has long been considered one of the most desirable living areas in the Bay Area because of its scenic beauty, good climate, and suburban charm. In 2007 America’s Promise Alliance named the City of San Ramon among the 100 Best Communities for Young People.

San Ramon creates a strong sense of community through people, parks, partnerships, and programs. Each year the city hosts the Art and Wind Festival where guests can enjoy arts and crafts booths, entertainment, and kite flying demos, great food booths, and a hot air balloon launch!

San Ramon invites you to explore the diversity that makes the city unique. The town is home to summer concerts in the park, the Devil Mountain Run, a certified farmer’s market, the Danville International Children’s Film Festival, and Hot Summer Nights car show. Visitors are also drawn to one of our region’s biggest ecological treasures, Mount Diablo, whose extensive view is rivaled only by Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
