Get out and Play!

In addition to all the opportunities for sports that the region’s countryside provides, there are many sporting clubs and facilities in our cities. Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin and San Ramon all have excellent public swimming pools with infant pools and programs for kids. For those of you seeking a little winter sport action, Dublin has a first rate ice rink, complete with adult and kid times and lessons for beginners and advanced skaters. For somewhere fun to go as a group, try bowling at Earl Anthony’s Dublin Bowl or try “Italian Bowling” or Bocce at Campo Di Bocce in Livermore.  There are numerous tennis courts throughout the region, including the Pleasanton Tennis Complex and Central Park in San Ramon and Osage Park in Danville.  In the spring, baseball flourishes at the many Osage Park, Central Park and Athan Downs.  Calling all soccer moms!  Tri-Valley,California boasts plenty of regulation fields in the area, including Danville’s Diablo Vista Park where teams play under the lights at night.    Many of the parks include picnic facilities for rent as well.
