Home > Danville

Danville is known for its small-town atmosphere and outstanding quality of life. Visitors can shop the tree-lined streets of Danville’s historic downtown, dine at one of the town’s award-winning restaurants, or explore the nature trails by bike or on foot. Visitors are also drawn to one of the region’s biggest ecological treasures, Mt. Diablo State Park, with a 3,849-foot peak that offers views of the Greater San Francisco Bay Area. With a population of approximately 43,250, Danville is known for its small-town atmosphere and its outstanding quality of life. And with nearly 300 days of sunshine every year it isn't hard to see why this is a preferred destination.  After 130 years, the small settlement on the banks of the Sycamore Creek has grown from a blacksmith shop to a thriving community.
